Backend Tests

  • Open, edit & save Elementor template editor for homepage, page, product & post
  • View and edit WooCommerce product page independently & in conjunction with product variation attributes (3 tests in total)
  • Create and check display of CheckoutWC Orderbumps with minimum order value
  • Make sure removal button for Orderbumps displays and works
  • Plugin created product feeds display correctly
  • Rank-Math Redirects can be edited from the backend

Frontend Tests

  • Anliegen/Concerns pages and the custom product-highlight-widget display correctly
  • Shop overview page, Magazin overview page, New-In page, Sales page display correctly
  • FAQ Integration displays correctly on Anliegen (page), Nassfutter (category) & Erste-Hilfe (collection)
  • Viewport Breakpoints on Homepage and Shop overview page display correctly
  • Legal pages display correctly
  • Trusted Shop Reviews: Homepage button, example Product page top and bottom, example magazine post page top
  • Product Archive Sorting can be changed and loads successfully
  • Ajax / mini cart, Search Overlay & Account menu loads on MOBILE & DESKTOP
  • MOBILE & DESKTOP Menu toggles correctly on all available levels
  • Video embedded playback video plays back correctly on About Us page
  • Mobile checkout cart & amount selector works
  • User account menu displays correctly and data can be changed/saved successfully
  • Language switcher works on sample category, collection & product as well as on homepage and during checkout (mainly to switch product languages)

Prelease Tests (main)

  1. Open Change-Log (!)
  2. Ignore all minor releases and fixes - version changes from X.X.1 to X.X.2 or Y.2.Y to Y.3.Y (-> they should have been checked in their corresponding PR or targeted due to update concerns)
  3. Check function of remaining Change-Log entries (incl. all new features and major updates like 1.Z.Z to 2.Z.Z)
  4. Makre sure they behave as expected with at least one touchpoint per entry (-> i.E. “New feature CUSTOM PRODUCT FEED loads feed as expected)
